Avon Nursery School is committed to providing an exceptional preschool experience for young children between the ages of 3 and 5.
We strive to enhance self esteem by offering unique opportunities and choices for children. This allows them the freedom to explore, discover, practice and develop an active, lifelong love of learning in a safe and loving environment.
We help each child to develop his/her unique social, language and motor skills by participating in dramatic play, building activities, sensory and science experiments, music and movement, visual and fine art projects, reading and writing adventures and outdoor play. We encourage curiosity about our surroundings and foster an appreciation for nature and the world we live in.
In addition, Avon Nursery School intentionally plants and nurtures the seeds of peace and tolerance. We help children learn how to sustain friendships, develop empathy, and resolve conflicts. We do not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, sex, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin or disability.
Avon Nursery School offers three programs in a half-day class format:
• Morning 3-year-old Program: Tues. & Thurs. from 9 – 11:30 a.m.
• Morning 4-year-old Program: Mon., Wed. & Fri. from 9 – 11:30 a.m.
